The St. Leger will host art exhibitions, music performances, poetry readings and functions. Residents are most welcome to attend these events.

On site regular events will include movie evenings, dinner dances, talks and competitions. Residents are cordially invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or sherry before dinner. Various clubs and societies will be formed to keep residents stimulated, active, informed and involved with their hobbies. Outings will be organised regularly to the theatre, ballet, and concerts, both in town and locally to the Masque Theatre.

The residents will enjoy a three course a-la-carte meal in The Foundation at lunchtime, plus a light supper, and can elect to have breakfast in the dining room as well. Residents may also entertain guests at meal times or opt for a private dinner party if the occasion arises

The Hotel’s own vehicle offers those who prefer not to drive, a free daily shuttle to and from Kalk Bay, Muizenberg, Tokai and Constantia and local amenities such as the the Masque Theatre. Places within walking distance include a public swimming pool, post office, municipal library, museums, a bowls club and many restaurants and shops.

Time can be spent with family and grandchildren enjoying a picnic at the seaside, mini-golf and the waterslides, or perhaps an ice-cream at the playground – there is so much on offer on with the beach your doorstep.
